Emin Balkis , Managing Director
I was born in Istanbul in 1972. I was graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) as an architect in
1994. I did my postgraduate in ITU in 1999 and wrote a dissertation about “Evolution of Modern Spaces”.
In 2012. I won prestigious “Arkitera Young Architect” prize. I have been continuing my professional work life
at Arkizon, which was founded with Elvan Caliskan, since 2003. And I establish Arkizon Uk at year of 2018.
I am an architect with more than 20 years of experience in this field. My architectural practice has been
characterized by its clear design appeal and its delicate response to complex local situations. I have
dealt with several architectural commissions and competition themes including creative offices, apartment
buildings, museums, covered pools, factories, pavilions, villas, large housing complexes, all kinds of interior
designs and many more themes. Urban design is also part of my portfolio experience as well as research
on pressing urban subjects.
